Notes:
A seductive
aroma of ripe red cherries and spicy oak emanates from this elegant, “right bank” Bordeaux-style wine. Liquid
velvet on the tongue, this is richly flavored and versatile, matching well with beef, lamb, fowl or cheese. 20 months
of aging in new and older French oak barrels added layers of flavors and marvelous complexity to what these vines gave us.
We added
15% cabernet sauvignon for improved structure and richness in the mouth. The color is medium
red while the aroma and taste are of ripe red and black
cherries. The finish is long, soft and elegant. This wine is very enjoyable now and will gain complexity over the next five to eight years.
