Winemakers Notes: We made this to show the range of differences in Sonoma County. The cool mountain
climate where our Mayacamas Range Cabernet is grown gives us wines with firm structure and length, more "Bordeaux-like”,
while the warmer Alexander Valley gives us riper fruit and lower acidity for a richly textured, full-throttle Cabernet.
This has lush black cherry and blackberry aromas with cedar undertones. Petit Verdot adds structure
while Malbec helps to fatten the mid-palate. “This is a ripe spicy Cabernet Sauvignon offering rich
black currant fruit flavors on the palate with notes of dark chocolate and wood spice. It has a lovely texture and terrific
concentration of mouthfilling black fruit that lingers on and on. A top quality wine offered at a terrific price.” Rated: 90 points – International Wine Review
